Barbara has held many jobs during her 51 years on the planet, but by FAR her favorite is working for Village Books.  She is amazed to discover she's been here for nearly six years. A former actress/writer/children's librarian/full time wife and mother, Village Books is her refuge, her pleasure and her entertainment.  The customers are always delightful, and all the staff are lovely. What more could you ask for in life? Her specialty is Children's Books, so feel free to email any questions and ask for suggestions for gifts, books for reluctant readers, etc... Her other two areas of (hmm?) expertise lie in Chick Lit and Mysteries. She is also an avid cookbook reader, so if Connie (our resident cooking genius) is unavailable, she might be able to point you in the right direction.
