Village Books is proud to now stock a manga/graphic novel section for kids!! Manga is the Japanese word for comics and print cartoons. In Japan, manga are widely popular and are read by people of all ages. They can cover a broad range of subjects and topics including action-adventure, romance, sports and games, historical drama, comedy, science fiction and fantasy, mystery, horror, sexuality, and business and commerce, among others. At Village Books we are careful to choose only those that appropriate for a younger audience. We are looking for feedback/suggestions so please take a look and let us know!

A graphic novel is a type of comic book, usually with a lengthy and complex storyline similar to those of novels. The term also encompasses comic short story anthologies, and in some cases bound collections of previously published comic book series.
